Love Dogs and Cats Too

Love Dogs and Cats Too

Blue Ridge is most definitely a pet-friendly town, and Love Dogs and Cats Too has been a big part of that tradition for many years. Owner Ricki Smart has manned the helm of this must-visit shop for 8 years, and it reflects her passion for animals from top to bottom.

Located at 777 E Main Street, on the other side of Depot Street from the train, the shop is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The bakery-style dog treats, and treats in general, are a huge seller, but you will also find the highest quality pet foods, toys, collars, beds and all manner of products for your companion animals.

In the treat department, our herd of nine hounds particularly enjoys the Bully Sticks, an all-natural product made from…well…the part of a bull that…um…makes him a bull. I’m not certain whether that is part of the appeal for the dogs or not, but let’s just say they’re a big hit and more important, a safe chewing alternative to rawhide.

The coolest part of Ricki’s store is her understanding that people who are passionate pet owners want their lifestyle to reflect that fact, and she has a fantastic selection of high quality home décor, original and reproduction art, accessories and more that will enhance your home and bring a regular smile to your face. When you see the stunning collection of ready-to-hang artwork available at Love Dogs and Cats Too, your hardest task will be resisting the urge to buy all of them!

Even if you don’t own a pet, pop into Love Dogs and Cats Too for the atmosphere. This is a store that just feels good. It brings smiles and reflects the “we’re so glad you’re here” attitude that defines Blue Ridge, GA. Who doesn’t need more of that in their lives?
